Pala Casino Spa and Resort to celebrate Chinese New Year through Feb. 20

Privileges Card Club members can start earning entries into the $30,000 Saturday, Feb. 20, cash drawing from 9 a.m., Monday, Feb. 8, until 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 20, by playing blackjack, Pai Gow Poker or baccarat. Privileges Card Club membership is free.
Players will receive one drawing entry for every same-suit blackjack, every full house or better in Pai Gow Poker or every tie bet with a natural eight or nine in baccarat. Guests will be required to fill out each entry legibly and enter them in the $30,000 Good Luck & Good Fortune drawing drum that will be located at the casino's North valet entrance.
Drawings to win a share of $30,000 will start at 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 20. Winners must be present. The schedule includes:

Pala also will celebrate the Year of the Monkey with a Lucky Monkey Giveaway for all Privilege Card members from Sunday, Feb. 7, through Sunday, Feb. 28. Privilege Card players who earn 70 tier points in one, 24-hour period will be awarded a 9" plush monkey. The monkeys will be distributed from 9 a.m. to midnight on the first floor of the casino's West parking garage. Players can check tier-point levels and eligibility at the Lucky Monkey kiosk outside the casino's West entrance. One prize per guest will be awarded while supplies last. Privilege Card membership is free.
Traditional Lion dances and an appearance by the Monkey King will be held through the casino at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 13 and Saturday, Feb. 20, and traditional Asian dishes will be offered at Choices the Buffet. The menu will include: Lucky Red Snapper, Asian Style Roast Duck, Tender Beef Tendons, Golden Pork Belly, Eel with Sticky Rice, Fried Rice with Chinese Sausages, Seafood Chow Mein, Spring Rolls, Cheese Wanton and Water Melon with Red Dates.
