Two other major poker tournaments in July at Pala will be the River Card Warm-Up and Quest for the Cup. The Warm-Up will be played at 7:15 p.m., Friday, July 3. The buy-in will be $100+$25+$10 and there will be a $10,000 estimated prize pool. Players will start with $8,000/$2,000 in chips and levels will be 25 minutes. Five seats for the Quest for the Cup main event will be included in the prize pool. The Quest for the Cup will be played at 11:15 a.m., Saturday, July 4. The buy-in will be $150+$30+$20 and there will be a $20,000 guaranteed prize pool. Player will start with $8,000/$5,000 in chips and levels will be 30 minutes. In addition to the prize money, the winner will have his or her name engraved on the River Card traveling cup.
Pala Poker also will continue its Thursday Deep Stack Turbo, Friday Night 2K and Saturday Night 2K tournaments. Popular promotions that will continue in July will include the High Hand, the Limit Flush Marathon and the Chase for the Dough. A new No Limit Rolling Hourly High Hand will be added in July.

Thursday Deep Stack Turbo: 7:15 p.m., July 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30; $45+$10+$10 buy-in with a $1,200 guarantee; $20,000/$5,000 in starting chips; $10 bounties..
Friday Night 2K: 7:15 p.m., July 10, 17, 24 and 31; $35+$5+$5 buy-in with a $2,000 guarantee. Players will start with $4,000/$2,000 in chips. Late and re-entries will be allowed for three levels with a full stack.
Saturday Night 2K: 7:15 p.m., July 11, 18 and 25; $50+$5+$5 buy-in with a $2,000 guarantee. Players will start with $4,000/$2,000 in chips. Late and re-entries will be allowed for four levels with a full stack.
July will bring the new No Limit Rolling Hourly High Hand promotion, which will be in play from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. each Sunday through Thursday, and 1 a.m. to 8 a.m., each Saturday and Sunday.
Additional popular promotions that will continue include the High Hand, which will be in play from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Hold’em will pay $100 and Omaha, $75. The Limit Flush Marathon also will continue from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday and Friday for 3-6-9 players and above, as will the ever popular Chase for the Dough from Midnight, July 1, until Midnight, July 31, with a $10,000 prize pool. Players win by accumulating live-play hours. Forty hours wins $60; 60 hours gets $200 and 80 hours, $400. When players cash out, hours return to zero. The Refer a Friend program also will continue. The player who refers a friend will earn Pala bonus bucks for every tier point the friend earns in live games.
