Pala announces April poker schedule

A new 30K Heater tournament at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27, leads the event schedule and a new Cash Boat promotion will be in play. Pala’s popular Chase for the Dough and Flush Marathon promotions will continue.
Although the 30K Heater will start at 10 a.m., registration will be open until noon. The buy-in will be $215+$35 and there will be a $30,000 guarantee. Players will start with $10,000 in chips and there will be a $10 staff bonus buy for an additional $5,000. Blinds will be 30 minutes and late and re-entries will be allowed for four levels.
There will be three single-table satellite tournaments played to win seats in the 30K Heater. Those will be played from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, and Thursday, April 25, and all day on Friday, April 26. The buy-in will be $70 and players will start with $3,000 in chips. Blinds will be 12 minutes. First and second place in each satellite will win a Heater seat. Third place will pay $100.
The Cash Boat will be in play from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 13 and 20. The Cash Boat will not be in play on Saturday, April 27, during the 30K Heater. Players who hold a Full House at the end of any live Texas Hold’em game will receive $25 and will then have the opportunity to win $100.
Additional April Tournaments:
Tuesdays and Wednesdays: 7 p.m. The buy-in will be $25+$5 with $750 guaranteed. Players will start with $3,000 in chips and there will be a $5 staff bonus buy for $1,000 more. There will be one $10 add-on for an additional $3,000 during the level-three break. Blinds will be 20 minutes for the first three levels and 15 thereafter. This tournament will not be played on Wednesday, April 24.
Thursday Turbo: 7 p.m. The buy-in will be $45+$10 with a $1,200 guarantee. Players will start with $20,000 in chips and there will be a $10 staff bonus buy for $5,000 more. There also will be $10 knockout bounties that will be included in the prize pool. Blinds will be 12 minutes with late and re-entries for seven levels.
Friday Night (7 p.m.) and Saturday Morning (10 a.m.) 2K: The buy-in will be $35+$5 with a $2,000 guarantee. Players will start with $3,000 in chips and there will be a $5 optional staff bonus buy for $1,000 more. Blinds will be 15 minutes with late and re-entries for three levels.
Sunday 5K Nooner: Noon, but with registration until 2 p.m. The buy-in will be $50+$15 with a $5,000 guaranteed prize pool. Players will start with $5,000 in chips and there will be an optional $5 staff bonus buy for $2,000 more. here will be one, $25 re-buy offered during the first four levels for $3,000 more chips. Blinds will be 30 minutes until the fifth level, then 20 minutes; late and re-entries for four levels. Those who play live poker from 8 a.m. to Noon each Sunday will earn $500 bonus chips for the 5K Nooner for each hour played.
Ladies International Poker Series (LIPS): 4 p.m. Saturday, April 13. The buy-in will be $100+$25 with $8,000 in starting chips. There will be an optional $10 staff bonus buy for $2,000 more. Blinds will be 20 minutes; late and re-entries for three levels.
Tax Relief: Noon Monday, April 15, with registration until 2 p.m. The buy-in will be $50+$15 with a $5,000 guarantee. Players will start with $3,000 in chips and there will be a $10 staff bonus buy for $2,000 more. There will be two $25 add-ons offered during the first six levels for $5,000 each in additional chips. Blinds will be 20 minutes; late and re-entries for six levels. Those who play live poker from 8 a.m. to noon on Monday, April 15, can earn $500 in bonus chips for the Tax Relief tournament for each hour played.
Additional April promotions:
The popular Monthly Chase for the Dough will start at midnight, April 1, with a $10,000 prize pool. Players win by accumulating live-play hours. Forty hours wins $60; 60 hours gets $200 and 80 hours, $400. When players cash out, hours return to zero.
The Flush Marathon will be in play from noon to midnight each Monday and Wednesday, and new this month, from 10:30 p.m. on Friday night until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. The first player to receive all four flushes (each suit) will win $350, the second, $150. The Flush Marathon will not be played Wednesday, April 24.
