Paddy Power says jobs threatened

IRELAND -- Paddy Power has responded to the Irish government plan to change gambling taxes saying it puts jobs at risk, The Financial Times reported.Paddy Power discussed the risk to its job development plans saying they may have to rethink where they invest, because the government tax plan would cost them $5 million more annually, The Financial Times reported.
Paddy Power pre tax profits were up 54 per cent, the report noted.
