Paddy Power Poker launches "The Cheap Seats" for Irish Open 2013
28 Nov 2012
Players can qualify for an Irish Open 2013 seat each week from just €4.40 at the site. There are two nightly rebuy/add-on no-limit hold’em feeder satellites at 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m..
The qualifiers in these daily tournaments – one seat will be awarded for each €150 in the prize pool – then go forward to the Cheap Seats Grand Final every Wednesday at 8:30 p.m., where one Irish Open 2013 seat is guaranteed by the sponsor.
Paddy Power, spokesman for the site, said, “The Cheap Seats has been one of our most popular qualification routes and gives our regular players a shot at qualifying for the Irish Open for just a few euro.
“Between now and the end of March next year we’ll be qualifying scores of players and what better way than to grab your €2,250 seat for an investment of just €4.40? The seats may be cheap but the top prize could change your life!”
The Irish Open 2013 takes place at the Burlington Hotel from March 29 to April 1 with a reduced buy in of €2,000 + €250 (VAT inclusive).
The Cheap Seat qualifiers from paddypowerpoker.com are eligible to take part in Sole Survivor, which sees the player lasting longest in the event walking away with €50,000 in cash, a World Series of Poker 2013 Main Event buy in and Irish Open 2014 buy in.
