Paddy Power Poker announces $100,000 Tournament Championship

Each week in 2013, players at Paddy Power Poker will be ranked on how much they play and how well they perform in multi-table tournaments and sit & go’s.
Championship play commences from January 7, 2013.
The top 30 players in each Weekly Leaderboard win a cash prize, with $100 going to the top player. The top 100 also get Monthly Leaderboard points.
The top 75 players in the Monthly Leaderboard will share more than $2,000 in cash with the winner getting $500. What's more, the top 150 get Yearly Leaderboard points.
As the year progresses the Yearly Leaderboard will take shape and the top 200 players will share in $50,000, with the overall winner receiving a $6,000 Irish Open 2014 package. What’s more, they’ll also receive Champion Rewards, which include their own bounty tournament, a blog and a chance to formally open the Irish Open 2014.
In total $100,000 will be given away in Paddy’s Tournament Championship.
Paddy Power, spokesman for the company, said, “Poker players are a very competitive bunch so we thought we’d give them something extra to fight for in 2013, and with $100,000 in free cash to be won, the battle lines have been drawn and we’re sure to see the cream rise to the top next year.”
