Paddy Power Launches More Betting Markets

DUBLIN, Ireland – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Paddy Power today launches 'group betting' and 'highest finishing group'and markets for the London leg of the European Poker Tour (EPT), Victoria Casino, 21-24 September 2006.

This follows on from last week's Barcelona EPT which was won by Bjorn-Erik Glenne of Norway. He pocketed €691,000.

US poker superstar Phil Ivey came second and British challenger Dave Gregory finished third.

Last year's London EPT event was won by Englishman Mark Teltscher who took home £280,000.

In addition to the new markets for the London EPT, Paddy Power is also offering 'outright winner' and 'to make final table' markets

The Irish bookie is pricing up markets for each stop of the European Poker Tour which includes stopovers in Dublin, Copenhagen, Baden, Deauville and Monte Carlo.
