Packer fights tax bill

AUSTRALIA -- The Australian government is after James Packer to pay Aus$362 million in taxes on a failed US casino venture, the Sydney Morning Herald is reporting.

The tax bill includes penalties incurred, the report said.

Crown Resorts says it will contend the bill including a court challenge if it necessitates one, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
