Over $1.8 million won last weekend during FTOPS XXIII

ONCHAN, Isle of Man (PRESS RELEASE) -- Full Tilt Poker's flagship tournament series, FTOPS XXIII, continued last weekend with more than $1.8 million won across eight events.

The biggest haul of the weekend came on Sunday in Event #20, when "BrickAndCRAI" outlasted 2,444 entrants to take down over $142,500 for a first place finish in the $300 + $30 No Limit Hold'em Re-Entry tournament.

Also on Sunday, Event #19 – a No Limit Hold'em Knockout tournament – smashed its guarantee with over 5,200 players competing for the $523,000 prize pool. The winner, "I Follow Rivers," claimed more than $89,000.

Earlier in the weekend, "DownByDaBridge" took first place and $25,000 in Friday's Event #14, a No Limit Hold’em tournament, while on Saturday, there was a combined prize pool of $315,800 to play for. The day ended with "MistheMan" taking $32,490 in Event #18, a Super Stack Rush No Limit Hold'em tournament.

More than $4.4 million remains to be won as FTOPS XXIII continues with huge events, massive prize pools and satellite tournaments through Sunday, Aug. 18.
