Butler recently retired from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE), where she played a key role in establishing the regulatory framework for sports wagering in New Jersey in 2018. She successfully guided her revenue certification and audit teams which grew from six to 15 until she retired from state service in 2021.
She began her career in 1987 with the New Jersey Casino Control Commission as an Auditor and quickly climbed through the ranks to lead the Revenue Certification team starting in 1995. Butler used her years of experience to develop audit strategies for the introduction of Internet gaming in 2013.
Ghanavati has been involved in the gaming industry for over three decades. He was most recently Director, Head of Regulatory Technology at Fubo Gaming, overseeing all aspects of jurisdictional product compliance. He assisted with the company’s launch in several states, including Iowa, Arizona, and New Jersey.
Before Fubo, Ghanavati spent 24 years with the NJ Division of Gaming Enforcement, rising to Chief Engineer before moving to the private sector in 2008, when he joined Gaming Laboratories International, LLC. During his 13 years with Gaming Laboratories International, he was involved in many aspects of the gaming sector, including technical compliance, market research, and business development.
