Octavian to Add Auto-Wheel Options to Table Top Roulette
UK -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Octavian has announced that it is to extend its successful TTR (Table Top Roulette) solution, originally developed for Gala, with the addition of two new automated options, TTR Live Auto Wheel and TTR Virtual Auto Wheel.
TTR Live Auto Wheel links to a secure, automated, unmanned live wheel. In this option, Octavian developers have adapted the TTR system software and the Octavian UCB (Universal Communication Board) for interconnection with the King Auto Wheel, manufactured by TAR-Vizjak. TTR Virtual Auto Wheel, meanwhile, links to a server-based Random Number Generator and requires no physical Roulette wheel at the gaming venue. Any number of players can access the live or virtual Roulette game via slimline touchscreen terminals.
While the original Gala solution, which integrates with a Cammegh wheel, was developed originally for the UK casino market, Octavian is targeting these latest automated TTR solutions at countries where the arcade or street market typically exceeds the size of the casino market.
Jose Paternostro, General Manager of Octavian Latin America commented: "These latest advances are very much in response to customer demand from regions such as Latin America, where the arcade market is keen to introduce casino-type games. These latest innovations are capable of opening up major new revenue opportunities for operators. In many markets a manned wheel is deemed to be a gaming table while an automated wheel can be classified as an arcade game and can result in significant tax advantages."
However, it's not only arcade operators who stand to benefit. The automated TTR options provide space-saving solutions for conventional casinos too, as they can supplement traditional Roulette income by enabling secure unmanned operation 24 hours a day.
With TTR Live Auto Wheel and TTR Virtual Auto Wheel now in the final stages of software testing, Octavian plans to preview its new and extended TTR range at G2E in October.
