NYRA soliciting bids for Saratoga improvements
25 Nov 2009
NEW YORK -- Bids are being accepted for the improving Saratoga Race Course grandstand, according to a Thoroughbred Times report.
The work will not be undertaken until financing from the Aqueduct racino is available.
State requires an upfront minimum of $200-million from parties interested in the 30 year contract, the Thoroughbred Times article reported.
A decision is not expected until December, the report said.
