No charges over snooker bet probe

ENGLAND -- Following a snooker match probe into suspected irregular betting patterns, no charges have been laid, the BBC reported.Stephen Maguire and Jamie Burnet were investigated in relation to a championship match in 2008, the report said.
A decision about disciplinary action has yet to be taken in the case, but insufficient evidence was found to warrant prosecution, the BBC said.
