NEW ZEALAND -- The government and Sky City are said to be close to a deal in their negotiations to build a convention centre in Auckland, 3 News reported.The deal will see Sky City build a convention centre in exchange for expanded numbers of pokie machines and tables, the report said.
The convention centre will cost $350 million and create 800 - 1000 jobs, 3 News reported.
