New player wins nearly $30,000 at Titan tournament

After four days as a Titan Poker player, he opted for the popular poker room's weekly $250,000 Guaranteed to be his first online tournament - and astounded everybody when he finished second place and won $27,500. The Titan Poker newcomer competed against nearly 2,000 players in this tournament for seven and a half hours, and was even leading with 4H KD as it got to the last hand. Unfortunately for Reimer, an unlucky turn on the flop ensured a pair of Sixes and victory for a rival player and second place for him.

However, he is understandably delighted with his extraordinary early success and is confident that this isn't a case of 'beginners luck'.
