New Jersey moving forward on internet gaming

NEW JERSEY -- The governor may be trying to revive land based gambling in New Jersey, but the city is also considering online gambling in its plans, according to Atlantic City Weekly.A state senate committee has approved a bill that would allow internet gambling for New Jersey residents, the report said.
Now the bill, proposed by State Sen. Raymond Lesniak D-Union., will go before the entire senate for consideration, Atlantic City Weekly said.
Lesniak is a strong supporter of the state's racing industry, the report also noted.
