There are hundreds of daily winners and cash prizes up to $1 million. Sports fans spend a few minutes a day making and ranking their picks to compete with others and winners get paid via PayPal after each contest has ended. Pick'em Pays covers all major sports and is completely legal because users never deposit any money.
"Today's daily fantasy sports landscape is crowded with games that require players to have intimate knowledge of players, stats, and situations. It also takes an enormous amount of time to work around drafts and salary caps," said Ryan Chow, co-founder and CEO of Pick'em Pays. "What sets us apart is that we designed our daily sports pick'em contest to be free, easy, fast and exciting to play so that everyone would want to participate."
While daily fantasy sports contests are facing legal challenges across the country, Pick'em Pays is completely legal because it is always free to play and the players do not risk anything. Pick'em Pays generates revenue through advertising and sponsorships integrated within the app to fund its prize pools.
Pick'em Pays is available to Apple players now and the Android version is slated to launch around March. Anyone 13 or older can play with each player limited to two entries per sport per day. The app includes real-time odds and scoring.
Pick'em Pays is based in Burlingame, California, and its founders and team have 30plus- years of gaming, online marketing and customer acquisition experience.
