New bet-level rules for New South Wales racing operators

The new rules, backed up by regulations, state that operators with a thoroughbred turnover of $5 million plus have to accept at least one bet from a punter wanting to win up to $2000 on a metropolitan race or $1000 at a non-metropolitan race.
While operators with turnover under $5 million must accept at least one bet from a customer wishing to win up to $1000 at any thoroughbred race, the Daily Telegraph report stated.
Customers were fed up having their bets curbed, the report noted.
