“NCPG is thrilled to have Joel join our team. He brings valuable skills in digital media and project management. We look forward to deploying his expertise to increase public awareness about problem gambling and help NCPG grow,” said Keith Whyte, Executive Director of NCPG.
Prior to joining NCPG, Joel served as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator at National Integrated Health Associates in Washington DC. He also contributed to writing and design projects for various national and international nonprofits. His passion for communications stems from his desire to turn challenging concepts and complicated policies into understandable and enlightening ideas for different audiences. His primary interests include public health policy and the economics of addiction.
“I am very excited to join NCPG and contribute to these important initiatives,” Joel said. “As casino gambling expands and sports betting becomes legalized in more states, the work done by NCPG becomes even more crucial.”
Joel holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from American University in Washington, DC. He is originally from Virginia and resides in DC.
