More than $3 million up for grabs in Full Tilt's MiniFTOPS XXIII
6 Sep 2013
One of our most popular and long-standing tournament series, MiniFTOPS XXIII runs through Sunday, Sept. 22, and features more than $3 million in combined guarantees across the same 39 events as FTOPS, but at one-tenth of the buy-in.
Kick-starting the action at 1 p.m. EST is Event No. 1, a $20 + $2 no-limit Hold'em tournament with at least $200,000 up for grabs. A further $50,000 in guaranteed prize money will be won in Event No. 2, a $30 + $3 no-limit Hold'em Escalator tournament taking place at 4 p.m.
MiniFTOPS XXIII direct buy-ins start at $10 + $1 or players can satellite through from $0.50 or 50 Full Tilt Points.
The schedule is packed with a variety of tournament types and structures, including three new game variants recently introduced at Full Tilt Poker: 5-Card Omaha (Event No. 9), 6-Card Omaha (Event No. 28) and Courchevel (Event No. 13).
"MiniFTOPS XXIII gives all our players the opportunity to compete for huge prize pools," said Full Tilt Poker's head of marketing Sarne Lightman. "With three new tournament types added it's also a good chance for players to experience the thrill of the new games on offer at Full Tilt Poker."
The action will continue for 15 days, culminating in the huge final weekend when more than $1.4 million will be won. The MiniFTOPS XXIII Main Event takes place on Sunday, Sept. 22 with a guaranteed prize pool of $750,000 up for grabs, while the $400,000 guaranteed two-day event will also be decided that day.
During the last iteration of MiniFTOPS, "lawnmower0" outlasted 13,565 other players in the XXII Main Event to win more than $150,000, while "Joao Dianda" earned almost $100,000 in the ever-popular two-day event.
