Mohegan Sun to host $230 buy-in poker tournament

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Mohegan Sun Poker is excited to announce the first Texas Hold’Em tournament of 2020 when the “Holiday Hangover Tournament” arrives on Thursday 2 January. Taking place in the Mohegan Sun Poker Room, now located in the Hall of Lost Tribes in Casino of the Earth, the tournament will feature three flights across two days, finishing with a final day on Saturday 4 January. The buy-in is $230.00 and players can register at the Mohegan Sun Poker Room.

In the $50,000 guarantee “Holiday Hangover Tournament,” players must make the final day (4 January) to be in the money, where the field will net out to approximately 12%. Blinds will also increase every 30 minutes, after starting at 100/100. Additionally, players who show up in the first level will receive a bonus of 5,000 in chips!Mohegan Sun Poker Room 1.jpg

The following is the tournament schedule:

Starting stack: 25,000

• 2 January — Flight A: 11:00am | Flight B: 5:00pm
• 3 January — Flight C: 11:00am
• 4 January – Day Two / Final Day: 11:00am
