21 Apr 2014
The MSPT at Potawatomi Casino will take place August 30 – September 7, 2014 and boast a $200,000 Guaranteed Main Event prize pool. The $1,100 Main Event Day 1A will be at 4pm on Friday, September 5 and Day 1B at 4pm on Saturday, September 6 – with the conclusion of the event to be played on Sunday, September 7.
The MSPT has been setting records across several states thus far in 2014 and looks to drive a HUGE, record crowd this September in Milwaukee. The current Wisconsin state prize pool record was established by the MSPT in March at $382,000, where Jason Sell took home $97,539 for the win.
This latest addition to the MSPT schedule now makes 20 events in 9 states during the 2014 season, with potentially more exciting stops to be announced.
The Poker Room at Potawatomi Bingo Casino has fast-paced action and a spacious, comfortable setting unmatched anywhere in the area. They offer 20-tables that are open 24 hours a day with all games including Limit, No-Limit Hold’em, Stud and Omaha. They are also known for extremely high bad beat jackpots – currently sitting at $136,222.
Set in the heart of Milwaukee, Potawatomi Casino has everything you would want: table games, slots, bingo, poker, off-track betting. And if you need to take a break from gambling, you can check out one of their six restaurants or stunning 500-seat theater.
In addition, Potawatomi Casino is scheduled to open its brand new 18-story, 381-room hotel this summer, just in time for the MSPT event. All rooms will offer floor-to-ceiling windows offering city and lake views, free WiFi, and an energy-saving, intelligent thermostat that utilizes remote occupancy sensors to sense when guests are in the room. The smoke-free hotel broke ground in 2012. It will offer a full-service casual restaurant, lobby bar, exercise area and more than 10,000 feet of additional meeting space.
