Michigan tribal casino brings jobs

STANDISH. Michigan – As reported by the Bay City Times: "More than 300 new jobs will be headed to Arenac County when a new casino is built this year by the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe, the tribe announced Wednesday.
"The tribe owns and operates the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mount Pleasant.
"Construction of the 32,000-square-foot casino is scheduled for completion by year's end at the tribe's Saganing Indian Reservation, located about four miles southeast of the city of Standish.
"The building will feature 700 slot machines, 40 electronic gaming tables and a food and beverage area, according to a statement posted on the tribe's Internet site, www.sagchip.org…"
