MGM sues Connecticut over law

SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts -- MGM filed suit in federal court yesterday against Connecticut, WWLP reported.

The lawsuit follows MGM International Resorts contention that Connecticut's new state law creates inequitable competition, the report said.

The company allege under the new state law, designed to protect jobs, they are not permitted to compete for a casino licence, WWLP said.
