MGM Submits Plans to Macau Government

MACAU – As reported by the (China) Standard: "MGM Mirage has submitted plans for its proposed casino venture in Macau to the SAR government, following the completion of a subconcession agreement with Stanley Ho's Socieded de Jogos de Macau (SJM).
"…MGM's Macau casino would be operated as a 50-50 joint venture with Pansy Ho, who is Stanley Ho's daughter and a director of SJM's parent company, Socieded de Turismo e Diversoes de Macau (STDM).
"The casino would be called the MGM Grand and the partners hope to have it open by late 2006 on a site next to the casino resort being built by fellow Las Vegas gaming company Wynn Resorts…"
