MGM Mirage drops Kansas bid

KANSAS -- AS reported by the Wichita Business Journal: "The Kansas Lottery Commission on Tuesday approved contracts with three prospective casino developers in Sumner County. But one of the largest applicants dropped out.
"MGM Mirage and Foxwoods Development withdrew its proposal to operate a casino near Mulvane along the Kansas Turnpike, saying it couldn't agree to contract terms with the state. Every casino under a new Kansas gambling law must share revenue with the state.
