MGM Mirage Appoints National Diversity Sales Manager

LAS VEGAS – (PRESS RELEASE) -- MGM Mirage today announced the appointment of Dzidra Junior as the company's National Diversity Sales Manager. She will be responsible for developing and implementing a business strategy to attract diverse markets and consumers to the properties of MGM Mirage. The position will report to Chuck Bowling, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for MGM Grand Resorts and will be based in Las Vegas.

According to Bowling, the position will help build upon a previously successful program at MGM Grand Las Vegas that targeted multicultural and emerging markets. Additionally, the position advances the company's integration of diversity into all aspects of business operations.

Junior joins MGM Mirage from Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. where she served in a similar capacity. While at Harrah's, she increased multicultural convention business. Previously, Junior served in a variety of operations and marketing management positions with the Las Vegas Hilton.

A native of Las Vegas, Junior is an active member of several organizations including Meeting Professionals International, National Coalition of Black Meeting Planners, and National Association of Female Executives.
