MGM Grand Detroit Casino to resume operations 7 August

The casino floor will reopen with strict protocols in place for your safety, including physical distancing and enhanced cleaning and sanitization procedures. Smoking will not be permitted on the casino floor. An outdoor smoking area has been created for your convenience near casino valet. Per Michigan Gaming Control Board guidelines, a 15 percent capacity restriction is being enforced, and table games and slot machines will be configured to allow for appropriate physical distancing between players. Sports betting will be available through BetMGM kiosks located throughout the casino floor or at the BetMGM Sportsbook window. The Poker Room will remain closed, and Pai-Gow Poker and Craps will be unavailable.
Restaurants and bars will have limited hours and reduced seating to ensure social distancing. Advanced reservations are currently not being accepted.
The hotel remains temporarily closed, but we are accepting reservations for stays beginning 18 August 18. IMMERSE spa and MGM & Co. retail shop will remain temporarily closed until further notice.
