UNITED STATES – (PRESS RELEASE) -- While no ticket matched five numbers plus the Mega Ball to win the estimated $22 million jackpot, the July 7, 2006 Mega Millions drawing produced a total of 319,673 winning tickets. The jackpot for the Tuesday, July 11 Mega Millions drawing grows to an estimated $29 million.
The winning numbers in Friday's drawing were: 7-15-27-46-56 and the Mega Ball number was 39.
Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
