Mega Millions jackpot rises to $66 million

NITED STATES -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- A total of 469,001
tickets won prizes in the Tuesday, June 19, 2007 Mega Millions drawing, as
players from coast to coast are watching the jackpot grow. Since no ticket
matched all six numbers to win the estimated $55 million jackpot, the
jackpot for the Friday, June 22, 2007 drawing grows to an estimated $66
million.
Seven tickets each won $250,000 in Tuesday's drawing. Those tickets matched the first five numbers and only missed the Mega Ball number. Two of them were purchased in Illinois, two in New York, two in Virginia and one in New Jersey.
The winning numbers in Tuesday's drawing were: 5-16-31-49-54 and the Mega Ball number was 19.
Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
