Mega Millions jackpot rises to $63 million

UNITED STATES – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Countless Mega Millions players from coast to coast had their eyes on the prize in the Tuesday, November 7, 2006 drawing. A total of 435,177 tickets won prizes, including three tickets that each won $250,000. No ticket matched all six numbers to win Tuesday's jackpot, so the jackpot for the Friday, November 10, 2006 Mega Millions drawing grows to an estimated $63 million.

The winning numbers in Tuesday's drawing were: 13-22-33-51-52 and the Mega Ball number was 42.

The three tickets that each won $250,000 did so by matching the first five numbers and only missing the Mega Ball number. Two of those tickets were purchased in New York ands the other in New Jersey.

Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
