UNITED STATES – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Less than a week after a ticket purchased in Lyons, Ohio won an estimated $267 million jackpot, Mega Millions excitement is building once again. A total of 510,149 tickets from coast to coast were winners in the Friday, March 3 drawing, including five tickets that each won $250,000. Since no ticket matched all six numbers, the jackpot for the Tuesday, March 7, 2006 Mega Millions drawing grows to an estimated $18 million.

The winning numbers in Friday's drawing were: 25-29-38-39-46 and the Mega Ball number was 4.

Those five tickets that won $250,000 each matched the first five numbers and only missed the Mega Ball number. Those tickets were purchased in Georgia, Illinois (2), Maryland and Texas.

Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
