Mega Millions jackpot rises

UNITED STATES -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Even though there was no jackpot
winner in Friday's Mega Millions drawing, a lot of players still walked
away winners. With nine different ways to win, a total of 470,538 tickets
won prizes in the June 15 drawing. That includes 3 tickets that each won
$250,000. Since no ticket matched all six numbers to take home the jackpot,
that jackpot grows to an estimated $55 million for the Tuesday, June 19,
2007 drawing.
Those three tickets that each won $250,000 did so by matching the first five numbers and only missing the Mega Ball number. The tickets were purchased in Illinois, Ohio and Washington.
The winning numbers in Friday's drawing were: 01-05-16-26-30 and the Mega Ball number was 21.
Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
