Mega Million jackpot rises

NITED STATES -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Lucky players nationwide
continue to win big with Mega Millions. In Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing,
a total of 412,035 tickets from coast to coast won prizes, including five
tickets that each won $250,000. Since no ticket matched all six numbers to
win the jackpot, the jackpot grows to an estimated $45 million for the
Friday, June 15, 2007 drawing.
Those five tickets that each won $250,000 did so by matching the first five numbers and only missing the Mega Ball number. They were purchased in Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Texas and Virginia.
The winning numbers in Tuesday's drawing were: 3-13-19-31-50 and the Mega Ball number was 21.
Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
