(PRESS RELEASE) -- Lucky players nationwide continue to win big with the Mega Millions game. In Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing, a total of 680,260 tickets from coast to coast won prizes, including four tickets that came within just one number of hitting the jackpot. Since no ticket matched all six numbers to win the jackpot, the jackpot grows to an estimated $117 million for the Friday, March 31, 2006 drawing.

The winning numbers in Tuesday's drawing were: 14-18-35-39-49 and the Mega Ball number was 14.

Four tickets matched the first five numbers and only missed the Mega Ball number. Those tickets were purchased in California, New Jersey, and New York (2).

Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
