UNITED STATES – (PRESS RELEASE) -- So you think nobody won Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing? Not so. Even without a jackpot winner, there were more than 345,000 winning tickets. That includes four tickets that came within just one number of hitting the jackpot. Now the jackpot for the Friday, July 14, 2006 Mega Millions drawing grows to an estimated annuity value of $40 million.

The winning numbers in Tuesday's drawing were: 5-14-34-36-52 and the Mega Ball number was 42.

Those four tickets that each matched the first five numbers and only missed the Mega Ball number were purchased in California, Georgia, Michigan and New York.

Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
