UNITED STATES – (PRESS RELEASE) -- A total of 529,033 tickets won prizes in the Friday, January 27, 2006 Mega Millions drawing, as players from coast to coast are watching the jackpot grow. Since no ticket matched all six numbers to win the estimated $50 million jackpot, the jackpot for the Tuesday, January 31, 2006 drawing grows to an estimated $61 million.

The winning numbers in Friday's drawing were: 02-07-08-18-29 and the Mega Ball number was 46.

Nine tickets came within a heartbeat of winning the jackpot. Each matched the first five numbers and only missed the Mega Ball number. Those tickets were purchased in California (1), Georgia (1), Illinois (1), Massachusetts (1), Maryland (2), Michigan (1), New York (1) and Ohio (1).
