The WiG Diversity Awards, which is in its ninth year, help create a progressive and positive arena, bridging the gender gap and inspiring future generations of girls into the gaming and technology sectors.
Sarah beat off competition from over 60 entries to be crowned the overall winner thanks to her drive to protect customers from problem gambling and the initiatives she has implemented toward this end.
Commenting on the award win, Sarah, who is based in Sheffield, said, “It’s a great privilege and honor to be recognized and rewarded for my customer service skills.
“It was a complete surprise when they announced that I had won. I am completely over the moon and cannot thank my phenomenal colleagues here in Sheffield enough for their continued help and support.”
The WiG Diversity Award judges said, “Sarah has done a fantastic job to be recognized for her customer service. There were 62 entries in the category so the competition was tough, but Sarah’s entry really shone through thanks to the implementation of her new customer complaints system which allows you to really listen to any issues and to act on them accordingly.”
