Massachusetts: Voters reject Hard Rock, approve Penn National

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts -- West Springfield voters have kicked the Hard Rock casino proposal out of the field, the Boston Globe reports.

Yesterday voters rejected the $800 million casino plan, the report said.

Meanwhile in Plainsville voters supported a Penn National plan for slots at the Plainridge Racecourse, the Boston Globe reported.
