Marketing Results, SMSC build mobile app for community engagement

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Marketing Results, Inc., a gaming industry leader in marketing and communications solutions has partnered with Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC) to build a mobile app that makes it easier than ever for members to stay in touch and engage with their SMSC community.

Offering an extraordinary level of connectivity for all community members, the SMSC mobile app provides access to the latest news stories, opportunities and events concerning the community. Users can opt in to be notified about important announcements and stay connected to their SMSC family, friends and colleagues.

The app is called "SMSC" and is available now at the iTunes store.

The SMSC app features a visually appealing home screen and easy access to its most popular sections, like Featured News, an interactive Calendar and Classifieds. News stories cover topics including Giving, Wellness, Events, and more. Members can also share and view photos on the site’s Photo Gallery, and easily contact members of the community departments via email or phone.

The new app has capabilities to send notifications to the general public, or to select groups, to broadcast updates, alerts, promotions and other opportunities to participate.
