Maria Casino presents Escape from Dull

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Mark 'Turps' Turpin is on a quest. The YouTube star and CEO of gaming website YogsCast is facing the biggest challenge of his career so far – to Escape from Dull. And by Dull, we mean the actual Dull, a small village nestled in the shadow of the Scottish Highlands.

Starting out at 7 a.m. on July 29, Turps has 12 hours to get as far away as he can. The catch? He only has his legs, his wits and a bag of semi-useful items to help him. Like a cross between The Great Escape and Escape From Monkey Island, he'll have to use every bit of his charm and cunning to travel across the U.K.

"Sadly I have no previous experience of escaping from anywhere; though I did once visit Alcatraz and have seen the movie Chicken Run at least twice," says Mark when we asked him to size up the challenge. The YouTube sensation is asking his legion of followers to help him out, but he's not taking anything for granted. "I'm not even confident that I'll make it to Dull, let alone escape any distance from it," he adds. "I was a member of the Scouts, but sadly my only retained knowledge from that time is how to tie a couple of knots."

With Mark trekking his way across the country, Maria Casino.com have created a dedicated control centre that lets you follow his epic journey every step of the way.
