Mansion.com Signs Branding Deal
GIBRALTAR – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Mansion.com, a leader in the online gaming entertainment industry, has signed a significant six figure ambient media deal with Flybe, one of Europe's leading low cost airlines, to brand one of their jet aircraft.
The two-year aircraft wrap deal was unveiled for a one-off World Cup charter appearance, before it commences normal Flybe scheduled services now encompassing 118 stops, 42 airports and spanning 8 countries. On Saturday June 10, the inaugural Mansion.com return flight from Luton to Frankfurt launched the fully-sponsored aircraft livery promoting the online gaming site across the entire fuselage of one of Flybe's fleet of BAe 146 regional jets.
An exclusive whirlwind excursion carried invited guests, corporate VIP's and key media representatives to Germany to enjoy all the action and excitement of the World Cup. The invitation was even extended to all Mansion Members, who were privileged to be part of the celebrations via an online promotion; thousands of excited customers signed up for the competition, from which 50 lucky winners found themselves winging their way to Frankfurt on the trip of a lifetime to see England square off against Paraguay.
As part of its entry into the sporting sponsorship market and following the announcement of the multi-million-dollar Tottenham Hotspur FC deal, the Mansion.com emblazoned aircraft marks a significant uplift in the company's international visibility, and firms Mansion's mounting profile as an industry leader that is 'on the move' and on the upside of an aggressive expansionary phase.
The Flybe jet features the black and red branding of the Mansion corporate moniker, guaranteed to generate a distinctive talking point on every Flybe route; with over 5 million Flybe passengers network wide per annum, and as one of Europe's fastest growing airlines, this equates to enormous numbers of eyeballs set to absorb the Mansion/Flybe aircraft wrap.
David Kinsman, Chief Operating Office at Mansion, said: 'Mansion continues to seek new and unique partnerships that are guaranteed to turn heads. The deal we have inked with Flybe elevates our brand to new heights, and has opened the door to developing innovative and fresh approaches of reaching a Pan European market.'
'The Mansion/Flybe agreement marks a significant uplift in our sponsorship portfolio, and we look forward to working in tandem with Flybe to grow and extend our respective visibilities to untapped audiences in un-chartered territories. When the Mansion branded BAe-146 takes to the skies for its inaugural flight we will be making noises in ways that will propel us ahead of the game, and maintain our reputation as a formidable force in online gaming and a creative player that is quick to think outside the square for opportunities and successes,' added Kinsman.
In addition to the aircraft painting and World Cup flights, Mansion will also be reaching out to millions of Flybe passengers through onboard and executive lounge promotions using multimedia channels ranging from mixed content plasma screens through to specially branded catering trolleys.
Flybe's first major move into the sale of its aircraft as an ambient media opportunity further confirms the low cost airlines drive for new ancillary revenue streams which serve to keep fares as low as possible. Flybe have given its ambient media business to London agency 'On-Pack' who negotiated this deal, and have more in the pipeline for Flybe across various platforms.
Simon Lilley, Director of Marketing at Flybe said 'This deal is testament to the strength and credibility of the Flybe brand. As the UK's 3rd most spontaneously recalled low cost airline, and with an unrivalled penetration of UK flyers we offer a unique vehicle for brands such as Mansion who are looking to break into the UK marketplace avoiding the clutter of standard media channels.'
'There is no other way to combine the ultimate corporate hospitality with flying a double sided 96 sheet!"
Peter Antell, MD of OnPack Media, commented: 'We envisage a point when advertising on the side of aircraft is as commonplace as advertising on the side of buses or taxis and OnPack intends to be at the forefront of this media activity and we're already working with several airlines to this end. Globally, 2.1 billion passenger departures via airports annually, so the opportunities to see are staggering.'
