Lucky Hearts Poker Open returns to Florida casino

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Coming off a record breaking Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open in November, tournament poker is returning to Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood with the Lucky Hearts Poker Open (LHPO), starting Thursday, 13 January 2022. The tournament kicks off with the $600 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em opener featuring a $1 million guaranteed prize pool.

The tournament culminates with the $3,500 World Poker Tour (WPT) LHPO Championship beginning Friday, 21 January and boasting a $2 million guarantee. The final table for the championship will take place Wednesday, 26 January and will be streamed live on WPT.com.

The 2022 LHPO will have 33 total events and more than $5 million in guarantees. Other highlight events in this year’s tournament include:

• $2,200 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) $200,000 Guaranteed, Thursday, 20 January
• $25,500 High Roller No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) $1 Million Guaranteed, Monday, 24 January
• $5,000 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) $200,000 Guaranteed, Tuesday, 25 January

The 2021 LHPO signaled a return to action for major poker tournaments, as Ilyas Muradi (Fort Wayne, Ind.) topped 1,573 entries to win $620,000 and engrave his name on the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup.
