Lucky grandma wins big at slotland

One lucky grandmother, mired in bills and debt, put aside her financial woes aside for one evening and decided to test her luck in slotland.com's triple video poker game "Wild Hearts."

Three hands into her session, the grandmother joyfully watched two wild cards pop up with her trip Kings, giving her five-of-a-kind and a jackpot totaling $775.

She missed slotland.com's progressive jackpot, nearly $100,000 this month, but the amount was a welcome sight for a grandmother who wanted to buy her grandson a new pair of shoes.

"Wild Hearts" is a popular game at slotland.com and this particular lucky granny's favorite. It's a triple video poker game, meaning each wager allows a player three different rows to cards to make their fortune.

The game features three 54-card decks. The two extra cards in each deck are the "Wild Cards," the same ones granny used to hit her jackpot. The minimum bet per hand is a quarter and the maximum is $15.

One max bet gives the player a chance to hit the progressive jackpot if they hit a royal flush. In the last 11-months, slotland.com has awarded nine jackpots of more than $100,000.
