LSOP 2012 kickoff features $500,000 prize pool
6 Jun 2012
"We're setting up shop in Peru and we're excited to bring so many players with us to this incredible tourney," stated LSOP spokesperson Michael Harris. "And good news for those who haven't won their seat yet — there's still time."
The Latin Series of Poker runs from June 7 through 10 at Casino Atlantic City in Lima, Peru, and features a guaranteed prize pool of $500,000. Those who have yet to win their seat can buy into the tournament locally. Super Satellites run at 9pm and 8pm, local time, on June 6 and 7 for just $180+$20 at the casino.
Online poker players who have become accustomed to late registration and the famous re-entry option won't be disappointed. Late registration will be available during the first three hours and players are allowed to re-enter after busting out on day 1a. The re-entry option is also open for day 1b.
Players who are unable to make their way to Lima for the tournament can follow along on the official LSOP blog, accessible at blog.LSOP.com. The LSOP announced several promotions on the blog page including LSOP Freerolls to their next stop, the Punta Cana Poker Classic in Dominican Republic.
