CALIFORNIA -- A woman who won a $266-million lottery jackpot completed her overnight shift, even though she knew she'd won, the LA Times reported.

The winner, an NBC producer, learned from her husband over the phone that her lottery numbers were the winning ticket, the LA Times report said.

The winning ticket is the eighth biggest mega millions prize, the LA Times noted.
