QUEBEC -- Quebec's public health officials are requesting the province stop its online gambling plans, CBC has reported.
Loto-Québec has plans to launch its online gambling site this September, the CBC said.
Public health officials think the Quebec government needs to do more research before becoming involved with online gambling, the CBC reported.
The plan is expected to generate in excess of $50 million in revenue by 2013, according to the report.
