Lawsuit Filed Against MGM Companies
SOUTHFIELD, Michigan – (PRESS RELEASE) -- On December 22, 2005, prominent attorney Mayer Morganroth announced in a press release that he has filed a 69 million dollar lawsuit in Detroit demanding a trial by jury against MGM GRAND DETROIT, LLC, MGM GRAND RESORTS, LLC and MGM MIRAGE, INC.
Morganroth said the pleadings made certain allegations on behalf of L.S. Brinker/Brinker Team Construction Co. and two subsidiaries, City Carpet & Flooring, Inc. and Universal Glass and Metals, Inc., all of Michigan.
Morganroth said he's been informed that Tre Builders and David Agnello, two of the defendants named in the suits, disagree with the contents of said release.
"The Perini/Brinker and L.S. Brinker release merely addressed the allegations clearly stated in the suits' pleadings," Morganroth said today. "It is not our intent to litigate the issues in the media and therefore will leave the decision on the issues and allegations to the Courts."
