Las Vegas Sands investigating possible Miami casino-resort

MIAMI, Florida -- It looks like Las Vegas Sands has entered the ring to try to build a casino-resort in Miami, according to the Miami New Times.

Genting have already announced a plan for a $3 bn casino-resort, the report said.

Any casino-resort is dependent on the legislature legalizing "full gambling" casinos, the Miami New Times reported.

Las Vegas Sands are reportedly eyeing and considering a suitable piece of land, the report noted.
