Las Vegas Meetings chooses nTAG product

BOSTON, Massachusetts -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- nTAG Interactive, the premier provider of real-time event data management (EDM) solutions, announced today that Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah's Entertainment selected nTAG's interactive badge system to achieve key objectives for their exclusive meeting planner event held November 8-11, 2007 across the company's seven Las Vegas properties. Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah's Entertainment operates as the meetings and conventions division of Harrah's Entertainment, the world's largest provider of branded casino entertainment. "The Las Vegas Educational Experience" event brought together 130 top meeting planners from across the country to participate in 3 days of personal and professional development sessions as well as spectacular food and beverage experiences. Event organizers made full use of the nTAG System to help manage various aspects of the event and to add a uniquely entertaining spin.

During the opening networking reception at Paris Las Vegas, guests connected with company sales managers and other participants using a networking contest, implemented by nTAG. Attendees were awarded points each time they interacted with one another. The connections were recorded and points were collected automatically by each nTAG badge. Winners won prizes and were selected among top point scorers, tracked by the nTAG System. Another prize was drawn randomly on stage through an nTAG computer generated visualization called the nTAG Event Maestro.

A new nTAG application, the Graffiti Board, debuted at the event. Using the on-screen keyboard that is a part of each badge, attendees wrote anecdotes about their experiences as meeting planners. These anecdotes were then displayed in real-time on large plasma screens throughout the venue, creating a fun conversation-builder.

The nTAG badges were also used for audience response during sessions and for automatically tracking attendance so that educational credits could be awarded to the meeting planners. nTAG also provided electronic surveys via the badges to collect data on event satisfaction and value provided to attendees.
